In 2017, I recorded a LOT of ideas, via the voice memo app on my phone, spontaneously or close to it. Some were good, and some of those fit my original purpose which was coming up with material for the next Le Weekend (leweekend.bandcamp.com) thing/s. By mid-2017, after picking out some LW-worthy ideas, I pretty much forgot about the rest of the recordings.

In mid-2018, I decided it could be fun to play solo guitar from time to time under the name "indulgences," and a few weeks ago I wrote some acoustic guitar things which flowed together pretty nicely. I decided those could be the first three indulgences pieces. Yesterday, I came across a group of the 2017 voice memos in a folder I'd accurately titled "Long solos, mostly over loops," listened, and decided/realized these were the "next" 7 indulgences pieces, written a year before I'd thought about doing this. I decided to record the acoustic guitar stuff the same way as the 2017 ideas and get it over with already. Today (9/23/18) I got it over with already.

If the title says "Indulgences" it's acoustic guitar from 9/23/18.
If the title says "Idea" it's electric guitar from the February/March 2017 date indicated and features a loop of more of that electric guitar (built up/laid down before I hit "record" on the phone) coming out of the same amp.
